So who are we? What exactly do we do?

Cross Sports is an exciting new company focused on grassroots sports development and promotion.

Specialising in live promotions we create and deliver bespoke events that connect with customers face to face and excite the senses of sports fans and non sports-fans alike.

We provide full project and event management services from start to finish including concept development, design and manufacture, branding, storage and delivery, health and safety, logistics, equipment, staffing, and most importantly world class delivery on the day.

  


Who runs Cross Sports?

Cross Sports was founded by Phil Leighton, he has been passionately involved in sport for over 25 years with his experience ranging from playing, coaching and tutoring at the highest level, to compering at major sporting events across Great Britain. 

Phil has already successfully developed his own multi-sport summer schools programme in Liverpool and possesses a unique ability to connect with and engage his audience inspiring them to gain the skills and confidence to take part whether they are young or not so young, performing at the top of their game or simply new to sport.  Check out the bio section on Phil further down the page to find out more...

Cross Sports has already worked with and delivered quality sports promotions at educational locations, city centres and large scale public events for organisations including American Express, Ariel, Hill and Knowlton, Kellogg’s, the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association), Robinsons and Vodafone.

Many other coaching qualifications in other sports.

Personal Experience

Phil has experience working with top international juniors and has coached the world junior champion as well as captaining the British junior teams.

He has travelled around the world working with a large number of athletes.

Alongside Cross Sports Phil has worked with many blue chip companies developing and pioneering a large number of interactive events in a variety of top venues across the country.

Phil has worked with and coached wheelchair tennis world number one and paralympic medalist Mark Eccleston. Check out the section on wheelchair tennis for more information!
