The History Of Cross Sports

Cross Sports was founded by Phil Leighton, who has been passionately involved in sport for over 25 years with his experience ranging from playing, coaching and tutoring at the highest level, to compering at major sporting events across Great Britain. 

Cross Sports has successfully developed its own multi-sport summer schools programme in the North West and possesses a unique ability to connect with and engage an audience inspiring them to gain the skills and confidence to take part whatever their age.

Cross Sports has experience working with top international juniors and has coached the world junior champion as well as captaining the British junior teams.

Cross Sports has worked with many blue chip companies including Vodaphone, Highland Spring and American Express developing and pioneering interactive events in a variety of top venues worldwide.

Cross Sports has worked with and coached wheelchair tennis world number one and paralympic medalist Mark Eccleston.
